I am amazed by the number of people I meet who are "working on a book." Perhaps the desire to be an author, to leave a legacy, to leave "tracks" and evidence of one's presence in this world is inborn in all humanity. Virtually everyone wants to be known, to be remembered.
Truth is often so obvious that it is unseen. We are writing a book! Every year, one chapter at a time, we write history. The last fifty church bulletins records bits and pieces of the chapters of the last year. We have been touched; we have been changed. The weekly "records" box tells part of the story. So does the weekly prayer list, along with the record of newcomers, baptisms, births, deaths, and a host of other events. You can read our "book" and learn what is important to this church.
I thought you might be interested in reading part of a bigger, longer book, so I'm publishing some excerpts. Read carefully. What do you see? What is important to this church? Are we changing? For the better? For the worse? What does God think of our book? Will you pray? Will you study? Will you tell others about Jesus!
