Read Matthew 11:28-30
God, Your Word tells me to come unto You and You will give me rest. Often in my life, when I stop to think about the various circumstances in my life and in the lives of those I love, I am heavy laden with challenges and concerns. I see poverty and hurts. I see pain and lack of medical care among my friends in third-world countries. I know that each person has unique burdens as we live life. Some labor to make ends meet; others are stressed by all that must be done each day.
Please, bless the work of my hands. Take the reins of my life and bless me with fruit that only You can give. Give me rest. I thank You and praise You, Lord. In Jesus' name. Amen.
